Paris, 2005 – Gallery goers see their own live reflections in a flatscreen on the wall. A nearby videogame controller allows them to distort their image in three dimensional space, rewind time, and change visual modes.
The joystick gives the participant fine control over many degrees of freedom (XYZ) and variables (ABC) that define how their 'reflection' is calculated.
XYZABC has been shown at Le Fondation Cartier in Paris, the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX, and STUK in Leuven, Belgium.
